Ken Block hints at special edition Ford Fiesta30 Jul

It’s not like he doesn’t know how to drive and doesn’t have a faithful following, yet many still wonder if we’ll see an actual Ken Block inspired Ford Fiesta.  Block’s not quite grabbed his share of World Rally Championship trophies (yet), but he’s insanely cult-pop, much ado to the insanely entertaining Gymkhana videos found all around YouTube land.  So, will fiestaforums.com be back in the near future to unveil an officially blessed Ken Block Ford Fiesta?

Ford Racing donates Fiesta to rally school17 Jul

With anxious Ford Fiesta buyers taking delivery each day, Ford knows that everyone is chomping at the bit to get their set of keys and rock the town in their brand new 2011 Fiesta.  Problem is, some Fiesta fans aren’t able to do so just yet.  Ford Racing, one of Ford’s spawned successes, however, is taking matters into their own hands with a promising delivery of 43 Fiestas directly from the Fiesta Movement straight to the Team O’Neil Rally School in New Hampshire.

After taking delivery of the cars, the Team O’Neil Rally School will upgrade each Fiesta with a safety roll bar, rally suspension, underbody armor, off-road tires, and  more to ensure the cars are ready to rock through the circuit with ease.

So while you might still be waiting to drive your soon-to-be Ford Fiesta, you can dream about that fateful day or you can hop over to Team O’Neil Rally School and give theirs a good woodland thrashing to get your fix.

Ford Fiesta shipping woes15 Jul

Still waiting?  Get in line.  So sorry to rehash it, but some of the excitement surrounding the deliveries of many 2011 Ford Fiestas this summer is being deflated by Mother Nature.  Hurricane Alex and Tropical Storm Bonnie were born to punish would-be Fiesta drivers with some seriously soggy wrath.  Between the two natural happenings, Ford’s initial shipments of the 2011 Fiesta have been delayed upwards of 14 to 21 days due to washouts and railway failures near key US-Mexican railroad interchange points.  Rest assured, as soon as the water clears, the railroads will be on top of their game to get the future Ford Fiesta fun freight flowing (say that 5 times fast!) smoothly.

Ford Fiesta gets official body art11 Jul

We’ve been saying all along that the Ford Fiesta is one of the most customizable and enjoyable little cars on the market, and we’re here again to offer more evidence to support the case.  Ford’s released an official graphics and body art package array to give 2011 Fiesta buyers yet another way to make the car their very own.

From interior lighting accents, an illuminated shift knob & sill plates, LED mood lighting around the cup sockets and foot wells, the Fiesta has got interior excitement down to a comfortable art.  What’s more is Ford has some awesome exterior applique to go along with the interior touches.

The vinyl graphic overlays (straight from the factory!) have been called “body tattoos” by Ford, and there’s no question why.  There is a wide selection of tribal, euro, retro, and fusion graphics to choose from and they’re all sanctioned by Ford and guaranteed to fit with finish and form.

Keep reading to get more of the nitty gritty details in the official press release from Ford!

Ford Fiesta returns to ESPN X Games01 Jul

After a sensational debut at last year’s X Games, the new Ford Fiesta is set to conquer more than the gold this go ’round; it’s out for legend.  Quite soon, the 2010 ESPN X Games will kick off and one charged up participant, the Fiesta, will be back in full form to defend its title, piloted by a brilliant team of drivers found in Ken Block, Kenny Brack, Tanner Foust, and Brian Deegan.  All of these drivers, whether you’ve seen them at the helm or not, are insanely capable of rally racing and rocking the crowd’s socks off.

This year’s games will compliment the official debut of the Ford Fiesta as it’s hitting dealership lots and showrooms around the continent this week.  With an all-star cast and an insane social media backing, we have a hard time seeing just how the Ford Fiesta will fail this year’s X Games.  Short of sabotage, honestly, we just cannot see how the car can lose!

The Ford Fiesta has finally started to land on dealership lots and most importantly, within the garages and ports of excited new owners.  There’s no doubt that most, if not all, 2011 Fiesta owners will enjoy a plethora of tech and finesse in their new rides and most importantly, each one of them will be customized to fit like a glove.  In addition to the multitude of options passed around on build sheets, the latest Fiesta installation brings upon another aspect in the Ford Story, with the retail movement pushing dealerships into the sales maelstrom and pitting owner against only one thing; his or her decisiveness against options.

If it’s one thing the Ford Fiesta Movement has taught us, it’s  to always be on the watch for the next innovative step in promotion.  For this go ’round, it’s about making it happen–delivering on the long-standing promise of success in the coming weeks.

You’ll do well, Ford.  We’ve got our solid copper penny on it.

Image and reflection–it’s what everyone hopes to exhibit…and what better way for a Ford Fiesta owner to strut his or her stuff than to directly personalize & modify the car in their own image.  After all, many automotive enthusiasts prefer to have their vehicles tweaked out and as far from stock or vanilla form as the wallet permits.

Ford has nudged the customization & personalization concept along a bit more and just announced they will have a series of model-specific graphics packages for the 2011 Ford Fiesta, 2010 Ford F150, and the 2011 Ford Mustang.  These packages are the real deal, scoped to offer about 50 unique graphic design outcomes for each model.

Following on the coat tails of two insanely viral marketing pushes, Ford has announced the most recent installment for the Fiesta Movement.  Mission three, “Roxy in the House”, will match up Ford’s Fiesta agents with Roxy athletes and local designers in order to fashion-up a design to later be applied to designer apparel.
