Ford Fiesta unwraps itself for a debut30 Jun

The Ford Fiesta has finally started to land on dealership lots and most importantly, within the garages and ports of excited new owners.  There’s no doubt that most, if not all, 2011 Fiesta owners will enjoy a plethora of tech and finesse in their new rides and most importantly, each one of them will be customized to fit like a glove.  In addition to the multitude of options passed around on build sheets, the latest Fiesta installation brings upon another aspect in the Ford Story, with the retail movement pushing dealerships into the sales maelstrom and pitting owner against only one thing; his or her decisiveness against options.

If it’s one thing the Ford Fiesta Movement has taught us, it’s  to always be on the watch for the next innovative step in promotion.  For this go ’round, it’s about making it happen–delivering on the long-standing promise of success in the coming weeks.

You’ll do well, Ford.  We’ve got our solid copper penny on it.

Following on the coat tails of two insanely viral marketing pushes, Ford has announced the most recent installment for the Fiesta Movement.  Mission three, “Roxy in the House”, will match up Ford’s Fiesta agents with Roxy athletes and local designers in order to fashion-up a design to later be applied to designer apparel.

The targeted designs will be placed upon T-shirts, hats, tote bags, and more, while competing designers will even get the chance to meet with Roxy athletes in order to drum up ideas for design concepts.  Once the designs are selected and committed, Ford and Roxy will pick one hard-working agent’s design which will be featured as an insert to the summer catalog as well as produced in a limited run for distribution as a complimentary gift with purchase.

Ford Fiesta and its media onslaught22 May

Social media. Printed media. TV advertising. Promotional spots. Celebrity involvement. Rally racing. Is there any marketing venue Ford has left out pertaining to pumping up the volume about the 2011 Ford Fiesta? We don’t think so. The next item on the ticket is a far-reaching ad campaign with the theme “It’s a pretty big deal”. This latest push by Ford is aimed at capitalizing the success of its past consumer engagements and take it to the next level (if there is one!). Between the Ford Fiesta’s tech toys, its design & engineering features, and its overall charismatic appeal, it seems like this little car will truly end up being a big deal.

Ford Fiesta Movement drums up local band scene03 May

Ford has done one thing very well with the 2011 Ford Fiesta and most of America hasn’t even touched, let alone seen (in person) the car yet.  The ford initiatives wrapped into the Fiesta Movement have made strides for other companies to take note of and if they are smart, benchmark.  The Fiesta Movement is a rapid-fire nationwide media push to promote 2011 Fiesta launch in the United States.  Chapter 2 conscripts 20 pairs of official agents and puts them on the pavement in their local communities in order to execute special involvement missions.  The first Fiesta Movement mission in Chapter 2 was to “bring it local” and commemorate their city’s reputation via murals and popular points of interest.  This 2nd mission has tapped agents to find a local musician, band, or comedian and work toward building the entertainers’ street cred within the community.

“We Are the Dreamers of Dreams” is the aptly applied title for this official second chapter in the Fiesta Movement and much of the ammunition for the mission’s success will come from the agents’ innovation, the Ford Fiesta’s allure, and local radio station broadcasting.  During the mission, the agents will chronicle their pursuits and post the details on their event page where Fiesta fans & followers can keep tabs on all the action.  Be sure to check out www.fiestamovement2.com for all the latest on the agents’ progress in this exciting new mission and keep reading to get a list of all the Fiesta agents, cities, entertainer & band names, as well as the radio stations providing promotional assistance.

We all know the 2011 Ford Fiesta is going to take the aftermarket by storm, given its excitement associated with Ford’s Fiesta Movement, the social media integration & application, and the promises to see this little tuner car all tricked-out at this year’s SEMA show.  So what happens if Ford decides to play along with the multitude of aftermarket players?  We can think of nothing better.  It’s been a while since we’ve seen much of anything from the Ford Special Vehicle Team (SVT), so perhaps this is a prime time to rekindle the efforts of the group?  Most any Ford donning the SVT badge commands respect, is known to perform, and most importantly–holds consumer value more so than its vanilla brethren.

Next phase of Fiesta Movement brings it local02 Mar

After a blazing initial success of the Ford Fiesta Movement, the decision has been made by Ford to continue the unfolding of the saga.  Chapter 2 in the Ford Fiesta Movement has kicked off with 20 teams of 2 agents taking the new 2011 Fiesta and bringing it to you, someplace nearby, or someplace you can easily find.  You know, local.  Their mission?  Take the Fiesta, get it out in the public eye, draw positive attention, and make the car something to be sought after.  The next phase in Ford’s media blitz builds upon one of the most successful and multi-pronged approaches in history.  They’ve successfully marketed a tech-laden automobile with the very tech they tie into the product.  As a result, social media, word of e-mouth, and general Internet campaigns have built up a respectable base of potential customers and many committed buyers.
